Our simple guide to side-tiaras...
What is a side tiara?
The difference between a normal tiara and a side tiara is that (obviously) a side tiara sits off centre and therefore may not work as well if the veil is sitting in the centre on the top of your head.
With a change in bridal hair styles, a lot of brides are now choosing to wear their hair loose, across to one side and many other ways. A side tiara can add balance to asymetrical hair styles and blaanace out detailing on dresses with detailing to one side.
Side tiaras work nicely either without a veil, or if the veil is worn at the back of the head.
A headband is usually used for creating a side tiara but not everyone likes the actual band to show. For this reason we offer a service where the band part of a side-tiara is painted a darker colour so that it is disguised when worn in darker hair.
The effect is very good and it also means that you don't need to worry about your hair accessory slipping or moving throughout the wedding day.
